Your privacy is very important to VALIDSAFE.COM (the “Company”). We want to make your experience using our services and on the Internet as enjoyable and rewarding as possible, and we want you to use the Internet’s vast array of information, tools, and opportunities with complete confidence.

We have created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and security. This Privacy Policy describes how the Company collects information from all end users of the Company’s services (the “Services”) — those who access some of our Services but do not have accounts (“Visitors”) as well as those who pay a service fee to subscribe to the Service (“Customers”) — what we do with the information we collect, and the choices Visitors and Customers have concerning the collection and use of such information. The Company requests that you read this Privacy Policy carefully.

When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use ‘cookies’?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and ‘members-only’ content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.

How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and who are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and a secure server. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via a minimum of 128-bit SSL technology and then encrypted into our databases using a random MD5 128-bit encryption hash, to be only accessed as stated above.

Do we use "cookies"?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

How To Turn More Visitors Into Customers

When you want to turn more visitors into customers, it’s almost all about your homepage copy, or in other words, the text/wording. Of course your site must be attractive, and easy to navigate through, and your logo must be nice. It cannot look cheap, and must inspire trust in the customer, but this is all the basis of your customer’s judgment. The final decision is made in your customer with a call to action.

When people are looking for information and products online, they are quick, uncaring, and often change their minds. For even the best sites, professionals estimate that over half of your visitors will become disinterested, and leave your site within less than 30 seconds. If you want to avoid this, and increase their time on your site, and their purchases from you, there are a few things you can do.

Have Simple Homepage Text

Don’t have a lot of text on your homepage. Your homepage is going to be in the user’s gaze for about 10 seconds. That’s all the time you have to capture the user’s attention–unless of course the user is desperately searching the web for something. But you can’t guarantee this will happen all the time. So now you understand the urgency of things. If the majority of your home page text is not on the screen, then you need to cut your text.

Use Subheadings

The next thing you want to do is use subheadings. These call the reader’s attention to the important factors that you want to put across. When a reader is quickly surfing, they are only going to be concerned about the information that pertains to them. This is where a nicely worded subtitle will hold them for a few more seconds, while they quickly scan the paragraph to determine whether it contains the data that they need.

Keep It Short

The last thing you should do is probably the most important. If you are selling, or marketing a product, you don’t want to use cliche’s or flowery wording, on your home page. If a reader is interested in a topic you present, yes they will probably continue on to read some longer articles throughout your site, for more in depth information. But on your homepage, you want to assure that reader, in 10 seconds or less, that there are tons of valuable resources on your site.

Convey Trust

The one hurdle that any potential customer must make is that they must gain the confidence to trust you. If you were at a sketchy-looking store with a suspicious-looking storeowner, you aren’t going to do business with him. Similarly, your website needs to look legit, and you need to convey trust to your potential customers before they will buy something from you.

How To Start An Ecommerce Business

There are many reasons that you might want to start your own ecommerce business. Most find the process of building, and maintaining an ecommerce business to be very rewarding.

What most people don’t understand–that you must, if you’re serious–is that building an ecommerce business will require some work, and maintenance on your part. It is not as easy at some people will lead you to believe. Many people think that starting an ecommerce business is very easy, because it seems to them that people that have found success with ecommerce, just got lucky over the years as the internet grew in popularity In most cases, luck has very little to do with online ecommerce success.

Most people that have become successful with an online ecommerce business, have done so after some significant research, and hard work. For many of these individuals, the hard work was enjoyable, and did ease up significantly over time. But there was still work involved. If you are able to accept these things, then maybe starting an ecommerce business will work out well for you.

But you can’t expect an ecommerce business to be something that will let you get rich quick, this is not realistic. The first step to complete when starting on your online business is to make sure that you understand the legal ramifications of running your business. You want to make sure that you’ve got all of your legal bases covered. If you want to be taken seriouslsy by both other business people, and the government, you want to make sure that you’re legitimate. Many people make the mistake of not covering their legal bases, simply because their principle business is an online one.

At the most basic level, you must have verifiable contact information, especially if you’re a new ecommerce business. This information verifies that you are serious, and that you want your customers to be able to reach you, and other matters. The next thing you must do is begin to develop your business website. You will need a portal to sell your products, or market your services. It may seem like designing a website should be simple, but it is not. You want to make sure that you design a site that is appealing for others to use, easy to understand, and attractive.

What Do Buyers Think Of Your Website?

In comparison, an online store can only show buyers a visual representation – pictures, or at best, videos – of their products. A case study shows that 58.19% of shoppers doubt the reliability of pictures showed in online stores. In addition, online buyers have to risk paying via the Internet, providing sensitive information about themselves such as their name, address, phone number, and credit card number. A myriad of thoughts run through their minds, some of which are commonly these top five:

  • Does this website look shady?
  • Who runs this website?
  • Is it safe to pay through their website?
  • What if they run away with my money?
  • If I give them my email address, will I be spammed?
